Planet Waves FM :: Jupiter and Trees

Good evening. I’m here with a new edition of Planet Waves FM. In the first segment I discuss the current astrology, focused on Jupiter in Gemini, next week’s Gemini New Moon and a recap of the recent eclipses.

We have all been through so much the past few weeks — it’s time to take a breath and catch up with yourself before the next burst of astrology: the solstice, Uranus square Pluto and Venus stationing direct. There’s a lot of astrology going on, which means a lot to process. Take it slow, and do your best to absorb your experiences consciously.

Then after a song break and in the second segment, I describe my experience in Elisa Novick’s Tree Play: Heart of the Forest workshop that I participated in this past Sunday. The trees have a message for us about taking care of the planet, and also getting together and making sure that message gets out there.

They seem to be urgently suggesting that we get on a collective level of thought and make some decisions. My impression is they’re telling us that the fate of the Earth is indeed at stake and that it is in our hands. I mention that I’ll link to my recent article In Praise of Trees, in which I feature Elisa and her communication with these creatures. You’ll see we offer access to a PDF that gives some detailed transcripts of these discussions.

We will have Elisa back on the program shortly.

Here is your program in the old player, where you’ll find the full archives and a downloadable zip file.

Lovingly,

Eric Francis

  1. Eric: Thank you for a really rich and resourceful broadcast. Especially taken to heart was your encouragement to see when others are working towards greater freedom and support them in their efforts. Good to hear Jerry’s inimitable triplets as well.

  2. Glad you did a broadcast on this subject because I was really interested to hear about your experience in Elisa’s workshop. It sounds like I got pretty much the same story from the trees as you did. Prompted by this blog post, I tuned into them today and got some profoundly unexpected results.

  3. Eric please post this to the old recorder also so I can download it. In Africa it’s the only way I can access it via downloading. Thanks

  4. Carrie,
I once saw a bumper sticker that said “without God, I am nothing” and thought, that’s backwards, it ought to say “without me, God is nothing”. My belief is that “God” is best expressed as compassionate loving action(s), including oneself. (Sometimes especially to oneself.)

I feel the same about the phrase “the return of the divine feminine”. She has always been present, it is we who return to Her.

    🙂

  5. Fascinating about the caterpillar and its reistance to transformation, Carrie. Feeling like a stuck caterpillar myself these days.
Eric – woke really early this am, so was able to give myself that lovely hour to listen you your programme, packed full of goodies. That Gemini new moon is scary – but good to know, so we can send positive energy and thoughts, particularly to Japan. I loved hearing about your tree workshop with Elisa. Was thinking as I listened about how my plants and olive tree give off this gentle energy and unconditional love, and have their own personalities. Also fascinating to see the exquisite dance of give and take between the plants, insects, birds and lizards. Thank you.

This ties into something Len said today to David about the transformation of caterpillars and it reminded me of that movie Thrive and what someone on that said about them as well (I extrapolate…it is what I do). It seems that when caterpillars metamorphose, their immune systems fight the change. So if their immune systems are defeated; they become the butterfly. If their immune system wins, they starve and die off. This reminded me of the woman in Thrive saying that our species is like that ravenous caterpillar; eating and destroying its habitat voraciously. Then as we begin to change and during that change, we fight with all the immune system we have against the transformation. We see this fight against the change in the old ways and how they have become virulently and at times violently attacking the people spearheading the change. This change has something to do with the return of the divine feminine which is why the changing caterpillar that is humanity is attacking women and their rights so much.

This means we are at a turning point in which the agents of transformation must overcome the immune system of the old, capitalistic, greedy, patriarchal, earth-wasting and earth-devouring ways.

That’s a tough thing; to overcome our own protective immune system. I hope we manage it…for the sake of all humanity.

I hope we do not have to “hit bottom” before the caterpillar realizes it must change (like we “hit bottom” with the false flag attack of 9-11 that instilled so much fear that people willingly gave up more and more of their rights). Hitting bottom for the caterpillars will also mean we all share in that bottoming out; us, our children and our grandchildren. Innocents may be damaged if that happens. We have to find a way to prevent that as the transformation moves forward.

    The question is…how?
