Note to our Blog Readers

Helloo —

Just a reminder to let you know that the Weekend Astrology piece we’ve been publishing here Fridays is now published in our subscriber edition.

This week I take up the question of therapy. My lead article is called “The Folk Art of Therapy,” a piece that’s been orbiting my airport for a few years. A number of you helped contribute ideas, about two years ago when we had a discussion in this space. You might say that the interval of time between then and now is when I was processing the questions that you raised.

We usually mail the subscriber edition to our various lists beginning at about 10 am Friday, New York time. Production is taking place between New York, Los Angeles, Portland, Maine, Palm Coast, Florida, and the Ukraine.

The horoscope was written by Genevieve Hathaway, our roving correspondent to the stars. This week’s issue also includes coverage of Julian Assange, an old lady is freed from an Arizona prison, and there is a New Moon in the sign Leo. Subscribers check your inbox in the morning. If you want to sign up or see what it’s about, check this link.

Good eeevening from New York.

  1. One of the best pieces of advice ever. I have to say, I just went through the process last year. This is not my first ride on teh merry go round, but it’s my first successful ride. I found her on Psychology Today’s web tool, and the profile looked pretty much like Eric described, except she also has the degree. The match just felt right, both on the profile, and in person, and we have now been working successfully together for 9 months. Can’t overstate the value of that sanctuary.

  2. Great piece on finding a therapist, Eric. It seems as though that is the topic du jour on many fronts, and with many lives as evidenced recently within my own circle of friends.

It feels as though the times demand we rise up, do more, be more, and therapy is a way of getting there. I sense out there in the ethers there is a form of feeling transformative powers of death, loss, and renewal, which is what the impending autumn brings naturally, and enhanced by Nessus opp Sun. May we all advance and grow with the healing!
