Spurred by listening to the Supreme Court of the United States weigh the arguments regarding both the same-sex marriage issue and the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), Eric has treated readers of Planet Waves’ membership service to an exploration beyond the Queer Frontier. Revolution comes in many forms, as does evolution — but at some point, the processes need to happen internally, on the individual level, to actually get us anywhere.
That may be the true movement being made by the square between Uranus and Pluto, which is shaping our reality even as we live it. You can read the full issue — which includes a full-to-bursting complement of astro-news briefs, plus this week’s horoscopes for all 12 signs — with a single purchase at this link. Or, you can take advantage of our ongoing membership drive and score yourself a full year of premium Planet Waves content for only $49 here.
Re the “Monsanto Protection Act” and the inability to identify the culprit who authored and appended the rider to a spending bill. Yes, it is time to identify those who pack bills with all sorts of unrelated matters, buried deep within excruciating verbosity and often as part of something that “must” get passed, and ultimately does. At least it expires in six months, unlike Michigan and the inability to directly challenge any part of an appropriations law, even if what was buried in it has no relation to appropriations. Recent examples in Michigan include the repeal of individual item pricing and the infamous “Right to Work”. “There oughta be a law” – one that says “one bill, one topic”. No pork barrel packing, no unrelated riders.

“Treating sex as a moral issue. . .its origins in religion.” Karl Marx was right, at least when it comes to religion.
Thank you, Eric, for a very provocative newsletter with much to ponder, including more positive points of our current Uranus-Pluto astrology.

thanks len — we do work hard every week to make sure not only that the ideas are sound and the astrology interpreted accurately and in a way that empowers readers, but we also work our butts off to make sure the whole enchilada looks beautiful, reads elegantly and has something of relevance for everyone — whether you’re a news junkie, just need a laugh or some inspiration, or you make a beeline for your sun sign and rising sign horoscopes.
it’s a labor of love by a whole team of people. and that *you*, len, for being an available and enthusiastic extra set of eyes with valuable experience as an astrologer.
