I’m Canadian and was working on this day 10 years ago. I was only able to get radio updates. Towards the end of the workday, before I got to a tv, I was already starting to suspect something fishy about the entire thing. What set me off was hearing the news of Building 7 also coming down. Right away I thought “Two gigantic towers come down and no other building in the district is heavily affected by this except the Government building across the street?”
A Siena Poll (PDF) published earlier this year found that 3 out of 4 New Yorkers have never seen any footage of Building 7′s destruction.

I have to say it stuns me that so many people (especially my brothers and sisters to the south of me) still so readily accept the lies and deceit regarding this event.
Thank you, Eric. Good point about belief being something that is made (or made for us). It is not certain that any of us will ever “fully understand” the September 11 incident. If there is indeed any pressure “to have the answers”, one must wonder where that pressure originates and its purpose.
Most of all, thank you for using the September 11 incident as an example of how to deal with things that we do not (and may never) understand. Also, what not to do.
