The thing about potential is that, typically, it goes both ways. We all have the ability to make a positive contribution to the world, and to do harm. You may be fully aware that someone you care about or work with has a dark side. The question is, do they have a sense of ethics, and are they in touch with their intentions? If the answer to one or both of these questions is yes, then you can give your fears a rest.
