Today, I met up with my mom and we talked in a park for about an hour. We chatted about dating/relationships, self worth, and getting to know one’s self. It was a great talk. One thing that particularly stood out was how she spoke about my father. She said that at one time she really really loved him. That he could be annoying at times doing this or that, but that it didn’t matter as she was very unconditional. I felt such a tangible release both for her and for me. That despite his abusiveness, the love that was shining in that moment completely transformed the memory or trauma and released it. I was looking at my mom and seeing someone very new. In fact deeper than that, seeing her very alive and in tune with herself and her momentum forward in life that was at once serene and beautiful.
On the date this horoscope was first issued, Scorpio mom and grandmother (that’s me) was concerned about her widowed child and orphaned grandchildren. Today (and for months now) I find myself concerned about my doubly orphaned grandchildren who’s stepmother can’t seem to find time to communicate with me. I made contact today (but they are on the way out the door, don’t you know) before showing up here to find this advice.
Headed to the woods to think. Saturn in my 3rd house, hanging atop my 3+ degree natal sun for months and months now … not a pleasant place to be today.
