  2. lucky — totally got what you meant! but i’m still laughing at the image. not so funny is a tree crashing into your house. eek! i hope insurance will cover it. glad to know you were not hurt.

  3. OK, I just read my previous comment – I’m the one that was without the shower, not the utility guys….!! Brain is still thawing out.

  5. Yeah, eight long, dark, cold days. A tree fell on the house as well, ripping out all power wires and destroying the house’s electrical connection. By the end of it, I was stalking and chasing down any and all utility/phone/cable workers that I saw on the street, trying to get them to help. But, after a week without a shower, it turns out that utility guys take a step back when they see a crazy, unwashed yeti charging at them while clutching a hot water bottle (from the neighbors!!) to keep warm. Yikes! So happy to be warm and wired again.

    it’s not just Scorpios. Do a little research (aka “play”) in the Oracle & you’ll see that one set of the August monthlies were this kind of thing for *every* sign. pretty sure this really was chosen randomly, as they all are!

  9. I’ll admit it! But my excuse is that I am click-link happy at the moment, because I lost power for 8 days after the storm in the northeast and only got it back yesterday. I’m so happy to have electricity that I click away willy-nilly!!!
