Astrology Today: Oracle for Friday, March 22, 2013

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn weekly for Dec. 10, 1999

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

You may not think it’s quite the time to think bigger. That is for next year, no? But do you think you’re going to do it all at once? There are many processes involved in integrating yourself into the ever-widening spheres of the universe as you perceive it. One of them involves what you do with your sense of individuality. We all possess this sense, call it sense number zero, and for the most part we keep it secret, lest we offend anyone’s political, sexual or fashion sensibilities. Events this week seem destined to demonstrate or provoke your understanding that it really is safe to be the you nobody knows.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light.

  1. “You may not think it’s quite the time to think bigger. That is for next year, no? But do you think you’re going to do it all at once?”

Well, I’m always ready to think bigger and yes, my initial inclination is to want to/think I can do it all at once, as I used to have the energy to do just that. A locomotive with an endless coal supply.

It is frustrating to be, physically, in a position where I can’t tackle everything I want/need to do.

Healing is coming. Like that distant train coming into sight, nearing the station.

In the meantime, I am trying to learn that tackling less, but having the time to enjoy it more, is another viable way of living. Oh, but that Mars propulsion and hot burning Sun, surging through my veins says otherwise!

  2. I know what you mean Musicman, poor Moon seemed to be so overwhelmed, until I read the Sabian Symbol for her degree. “A Woman Feeding Chickens And Protecting Them From The Hawks”. It seemed such a fiercely brave stand and fit in well with all the re-aligning of the yin-yang energy going on these days. I looked at it as a David-Goliath moment too. Dane Rudhyar gives this degree a keynote of “Guardianship”.

As long as we can keep the music in the higher octaves of the spheres, I accept your invitation!

aword, the Oracle recalls a day of Infamy for you but there must be for a good reason for it. I DO love that song and Glenn Yarborough’s voice too. Thanks for the memories!

    Before I retire…(for the night) …I read your piece 3 times…..

The first time..I got the hit…the essence….the trip round the corners of my roundhouse…!!

The second time….I checked out the technical bits…like you do…..finding an exquisite set of lights…lighting up…at it’s conclusion…..!!

The third time moved me to invite you to conduct the orchestra. We are however doing Handel’s Water Music….in wetsuits… with breathing apparatus and flippers…. under water….bottles and flash lights are optional…..!!

After an hour of contemplating arrangements…both musical…and astrological…not withstanding Yods and Venus…it seems to me that this one has a David and Goliath feel…..little old moon all on her ownsome….against all of those serious heavyweights……

Sense and sensibilities….hence (I would have thought)…”We all possess this sense, call it sense number zero, and for the most part we keep it secret, lest we offend anyone’s political, sexual or fashion sensibilities. Events this week seem destined to demonstrate or provoke your understanding that it really is safe to be the you nobody knows.”

An omni peaceful night to you and all….

  4. Be, you are indeed a gift! lol and thank you. Can I take a breath now? 🙂

Dec. 10th 1999 was my final wedding anniversary. (Huya was opposite Jupter/Eris that day. “Baby the Rain Must Fall” Hm.) I remember all too clearly surrounding that date my last-ditch efforts to save a situation that I had accepted as mine but never ‘wanted’ in the best sense of the word. Certainly my “ever-widening spheres of the universe as you perceive it” – as Oracle points out – had everything do with that.

There’s been lots of fire and water since then, but — Hallelujah and Amen! A little rain (Huya) upon the ashes and Life begins again. (Sedna).

  5. Thank you Daniel, I’m so glad you did come out of the shadow. As for your own truth, I would say you were nurturing it. Others have said it will set you free, but this above all; to thine own self be true.

  6. oh, and Dec 10, 1999, I was a fledgling in a shadow, wondering if I’d ever see the world with my own eyes. Working 3 jobs while studying and creating, waiting for something; fearing my own truth. Or was I cultivating it?

  7. I get it Oracle; this week the sign of individuality, Aries, is on overload, so Destiny is provoking my sense of Me. Jupiter in Gemini is providing “many processes” of integrating myself with the Universe, so it is time to think bigger. But it can’t be done all at one time so I guess Mars, ruler of the sign of individuality, being in his element . . in fact being in his own sign, must signal where to start.

This Wednesday’s Full Moon Mars will sextile Jupiter which leads to a Yod with Saturn in Scorpio and that would entail a process of integrating my personal assertiveness (Mars in Aries) with abundant information (Jupiter in Gemini) in order to stimulate control of shared resources (Saturn in Scorpio). Okay.

But this Full Moon Mars also squares Pluto in Capricorn which could thwart that process, even though Pluto in Cap is sextile Saturn in Scorpio. Should I muscle my way through anyway, or seek another path?

As an alternative route, this FM Mars will semi-sextile Chiron in Pisces and Chiron will be sextile Pluto and will trine Saturn too. To enhance integration into the greater Universe beyond “self”, Mars, still in a conjunction with Uranus, will semi-sextile Mercury (who is conjunct Chiron) in Pisces. If Mars (with Uranus) can pool those resources (action and shock) with Chiron and Mercury (teach and communicate), that would surely motivate Saturn (trine Chiron) to take any Mars action seriously. Yes, I do believe if I can get to Saturn through this alternative route, he, Saturn (who is in mutual reception AND in a sextile with Pluto) will get this integration process moving forward. I just need to remember that Mars himself is being forced to move to a higher level (square Pluto the higher octave of Mars). That’s where Mercury and Chiron will come in really handy.

But Mercury and Chiron will also square Jupiter in Gemini. Geez, is that gonna mess with my integration process? Well, maybe that’s why the Moon is in Libra, right? She will trine Jupiter and help find a way through these stumbling blocks with her “feeling” approach. She stands across from the Sun conjunct Venus (who rules Moon’s Libra home) and they too will conjunct Uranus (who conjuncts Mars) in Aries. She will get things balanced out.

Gee, I guess this isn’t just “all about me” and my integration process is it? Looks like lots of us will have to work together to get ourselves integrated into the ever widening spheres of the Universe as we perceive it. Since Pluto (eliminates) and Saturn (constructs) are reinacting their yod with Jupiter (from November’s solar eclipse), he will have his hands full (Gemini!) and maybe Mars (and Uranus) shouldn’t push for too much from him. In fact, Jupiter may be looking for a breakthrough (Uranus) of people power (Mars) to help out with the overflow (Jupiter) of information and communication (Gemini) he’s under pressure (yod) to distribute.

I get the feeling that lots of things are going to be happening all at once and maybe Mars isn’t in charge so much, even though he might think he is. Maybe thinking bigger starts with Jupiter. You know, that November solar eclpse had a grand water trine between Chiron and Saturn and Ceres, and now Neptune is in the degree where Chiron was (4+ Pisces). I bet Neptune has something to do with the ever-widening spheres of the Universe and it has something to do with Water. I bet Huya the Rainmaker opposite Underwater Sedna will have something to do with that too.

Well, it looks like I should just wait and see how the cookie crumbles before making any decisions on this Thinking Bigger stuff. Maybe the Universe itself will lead me to find that path.

(You know Oracle, at the time you 1st gave this advice I was busy filling bottles of water for fear that all the computer systems would crash, causing all the systems they operated to shut down. Turned out I worried too much then and I suppose I’m worrying too much now. But thank you for making me think things through so I won’t be totally in the dark if and when it all hits the fan! Hmmm. . . maybe I need more batteries for the flashlights.)
