Watched TV for a few hours to see if there were any stories about me. Nothing today. I did see that temptress Sarah Palin on CNN though, practically naked as usual ā wrists showing, ankles, hair, everything. Oddly enough, she was talking about death panels. I have always advocated them as a quick and efficient way to punish people for stealing fruit or shaving, but she seemed very dismissive of the idea. At one point she actually said “Obama’s death panels” instead of “Osama’s death panels”, but the interviewer didn’t pick her up on the mistake. Stupid woman.

chutzpah, well The Guardian certainly wanted to make it peeerfectly clear that they were don’ some spoofin’. Alta Kocker. Hock mier en chinik.
susyc — i’m with you on this one…
š
Hilarioussss!
Well you may not be able to kid a kidder but looks like you can spoof a spoofer ;D
I take partial responsibility – i deadpanned the whole thing when i sent it and i normally send serious stuff when its the Guardian š
susyc – ya, I think E’s spoofing us on being spoofed! lol!
Oh Eric. Quit faking getting punked. Can you get any spoofier I ask you. š
lucky; Well said. It’s about Awareness not Mistrust, yes?
And a good laugh is good for the soul.
I think it’s a good thing to be taken in by a satire once in a while. While it’s also good to question the information we come across in our world, I think it’s unhealthy to walk around having to immediately doubt all the information we encounter. That can drive a person insane (literally). Being “taken in” means we have at least one open and trusting bone in our body, and I personally think that’s a wonderful human trait. It’s all about finding a way to balance that with some healthy skepticism at times.
I think she has nice ankles.
And remembering – um, aware-ing – to not be taken by lies is in the air. I have been reverberating to that theme note for days now.
I thought you realised from your response when i sent it!!!!
Hehehehehehe
To be honest, the lead para does include a link to an article about the REAL diary, Sarah Palin’s ankles? really….. x
I hate it when I get tricked by a satire. Then I wonder if everything else I read is fake. It makes me think I live in a fake world where everything is a lie. I am totally freaking out. I don’t know what to believe about Osama bin Laden. Or Obama bin Laden. Or Black Osama. Or Newt. Or that temptress Sarah Palen.
How’s that panic attack going, Eric? š
Arsenal? I mean, Arsenal???!!! Indeed.
š I’ve finally been spoofed. Excuse me while I have a panic attack
really eric? you don’t think this guy is writing a little satire/spoof?
i just can’t believe it’s for real — and i read the whole article. c’mon….
This is not a hoax, apparently. Unless the whole “bin Laden raid” was a hoax. This is actual news reporting, critters. Go to the original and see for yourself. I cannot verify it, only that it came from The Guardian.
the gag was up before I got past’ temptress’…which is also around when I gagged.
oy vey is right.
no need to explain that this is a hoax.
Oy. Vey. Obviously faked. I mean, really, Arsenal? He really should be rooting for Manchester United, not Arsenal. That is if he was even into football. Cricket is more in line with living in Pakistan. But then, Yemenis are footie fans I think, not cricketers, so Man United it is.
just read the whole article. brilliant. holy fuck.
