A reader has sent in this video documentary on Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks. Here is Assange on Colbert in an 11 minute interview.
Here is my coverage from Friday’s Planet Waves. We have sent this edition by email to our whole readership. I note in the article that WikiLeaks was founded on Oct. 4, St. Francis Day. Julian Assange has many similarities to St. Francis of Assisi, including living an itinerant life: Francis told the monks of his order to be itinerant, and to not establish a monastery (in later years many were established). Assange’s data is not known, but his life makes a compelling case for looking at the chart for Oct. 4 the year he was born (1971).

the minute I laid eyes on JA several months ago I felt there was something incredibly special about him and so started investigating……just how special then I had no idea. In the absence of any birth data I think it’s a great idea, Eric, to base his birth chart on the 4th October link with St. Francis of Assisi. There is a quality so rare about him – a mixture of strength, fragility, truthfulness and wisdom – that I feel his recent arrival on the world stage as a sense of amazing relief, and a worthy counterpoint to the unrelenting spin and deceit which currently prevails at most upper eschalons. The timing is a gift. It feels downright celestial.
Classic hero worship going on here….
