This seems like an appropriate space to thank Cathy Guisewite. She announced today that she will retiring her wonderful newspaper comic strip “Cathy”. If you have ever read the strip it may come as no suprise that Ms. Guisewite is a Virgo.
Hmm. I once had a bumper sticker on my car that said Question Reality. A friend and I were on a campaign to spread this message, via these stickers, far and wide, as we felt it was a sort of next gen version of the old saw, Question Authority, and offered a deeper impetus for whatever needs to come next around this joint.
My landlord at the time saw my bumper sticker, and stood there for a moment, shaking his kindly grey head, and then he said, quietly yet with evident frustration, “I think some people don’t know what reality IS!”
My friend and I, in perfect chorus, replied: “That’s because they never QUESTION it!”
