Does anyone recognize what this is a bottle is or was for? It's not mustard or mayo; it looks like a pony sized beer bottle that you can drink in one gulp. Photo by Eric.
“Hey Mabel, How’s about another stiff bottle of beer? Just looking those two round, fulsome beers poured here makes me *darn* eager to get another *lusty, lively* Black Label into you…..honeybun. Whaddya say Mabel?”
😉
Eric – did you not see the golf clubs in the background? They’re golfers, ergo sophisticates of higher intellect and taste. Relationship? Who needs that when one has Carling Black Label and golf? 😉
but the real question is who are these people supposed to represent? what would their relationship be like? who are they?
I agree with Jere and Len – I would be hard pressed to name a worse beer than Mickeys – great bottles, though. It was kind of weird to see the book about hallucinagenic plants and a Micky’s bottle – brought back memories. Ah – the old days. Kat
I have a bunch of those that I have kept spices in for about 30 years. I found corks for the tops. Yup – old beer bottles.

it was just packed with dirt, i’m afraid…
Verily, it doth be a Mickey’s.
Len, according to the http://www.mickeys.com/ website, they still are, albeit not in the fake beer barrel bottle anymore.
I somehow managed to bypass Mickey’s in my youth, and I don’t consider that a loss…
what’s in the bottle?
it looks like moss!!
Does that stuff still exist? One would have thought that there would be some sort of international treaty banning its production and testing by now.
A Mickey’s!!!!
yep, looks like a mickey’s to me . . .
Looks like a Mickey’s Big Mouth bottle of beer (and I say beer, not ‘brew’, ’cause that stuff is gnarly).
