It is a sophisticated, efficient tool for communication, art, news and other forms of conveying ideas and information. But it is not a replacement for face to face relationships. It can distract you from vital reality, emotional contact, exercise, fresh air, and physical relating.
What you experience here is not direct experience. It exists in a sub-astral plane, close to the dimension we currently think of as “dreams.” Emotional attachment is possible. Internet usage can consume vast amounts of time. By repeated use of the delete button, you may acquire a false belief that you are in control and that human presence, including your own, may be erased with a single click.
If you exist in this realm under different “identities,” you may fragment your psyche and begin to believe that you are “different people.” This can create a conflict of interest with yourself, and lead you to behaviors inconsistent with who you are in your real time/space existence. They can also lead you out of your thought-box and provide a space to experiment.
In order to be safe and effective, the Internet must be balanced by actual, physical world experiences, eye contact, physical contact, water, food and throwing firecrackers at bears who try to steal your apples. A recent study recommends that one post at least half as much information as one consumes, to maintain full metabolism of the material.
Rumors that entire communities and even a small country have vanished due to Internet use are probably true. In addition, the entire thing needs to be proofread and fact checked.

I’m in total agreement. That also needs to include not only the Internet, but all other small countries, and various large countries and land masses as well.

I feel like nuggets such as this is when the true astrology comes out. When all the signs and houses and attributes are converted in little more than a musing… with all that astrological oomph behind it. The best teachings are the ones that feel the least invasive… so that they leave a mark before you even realize their presence.
