We’re now under the eye of the storm — it’s bright and sunny outside, not a drop of rain falling. The storm is comma-shaped, and the big end has passed over most of New York State. There was some rain (didn’t seem like a lot, compared to normal summer storms) and a bit of wind.
Weather update – just went out again. It’s not really sunny, just very bright overcast, with a light mist falling, and a slight breeze. Here are some photos of New York City from last night, gathered by the Daily Mail in England, on a link that Gary just sent over.

those photos of NYC are sick!
Thanks for the update and the pix Eric. Sounds like you are riding it out with good fortune so far. Speaking of England’s view here is how one British astrologer’s take on Hurricane Irene looks as he compares his country and ours through their solar return charts as well as natal.

“In the case of the US, however, I’m aware from the Uranus-Pluto square just how intense are the forces for change right now, and how intensely the US as a whole is trying to hang on to things the way they have been.”
