ALL SIGNS POINT to an imagination working overtime today. With Psyche conjoining Ixion, how much inner pain effects you today is the question. Wounds and past transgressions could take on an exaggerated role. I say this because Psyche’s delineation is that of the “head trip,” while Ixion is the symbol of what we are all capable of, for good or for ill. Put those together and it seems like it’s an open invitation to get very, very obsessed or attached.
While emotion is a great thing, when it goes too far there is a sense of exaggeration to it. It seems like today it is important to know where you end and the world begins. When experiences from the past become reasons to stay put and not go forward, they no longer function as embellishments to the soul, but rather as crutches that inhibit growth. Awareness of the things that have hurt you in the past, just being with the hurt, is a step towards vitality.
Mercury square Chiron suggests strain where expression and individuaity is concerned. Mercury is the planet which symbolizes the energy of the mind and the breath of words. It can be fast moving and sharp. Traditionally, it rules the hands. Something very special is going through your head today, something original and innovative. Perhaps there is something going on within you that would yield a rewarding piece of artwork. The creative process, through either hand crafts or language may be able to bring you to places of your subconscious that you otherwise do not access. Chiron is very much about what it is that makes you special. The square suggests strain in the mind over this, perhaps because there is not enough space in your environment for that type of expression. I’m not really sure about this, but I would guess that a nurturing environment in the home and in the head are crucial in the search for the creative life. Sometimes we exercise our creativity just by rearranging the furniture: that’s great!
The Sun sextile Logos today suggests, to me, a relationship with technology or innovation. It looks something like power being influenced by the technological world. Perhaps, with the other aspects occuring today, there is an aspect of the world of engines and data processing that attracts or repels you. Do your sensibilities match up with that of your PC/Mac? Logical thought brings a feeling of detachment that may come in handy today as you turn a discerning eye inwards. We live in a world where pain and cares can be enhancements or diversions of identity, just like the computer. Which is it for you?
