Egg Recall Expands to 1939

Recalled eggs found in health food store in New York. Photo by Eric Francis.

Federal authorities expanded the egg recall to 1939 and included the Ful-o-Pep brand. More than 2,500 cases of eggs laid between June 1939 and August 1941 have been recalled. If you have any of these eggs in your refrigerator, please return them to the store.

  1. …ya, and the oversize bottle of home delivered orange juice obliterated them from view in the back of my icebox too.

I’d better check the milk-chute for more relics…..heaven knows what got left behind in there when all the healthy daily home delivery services were displaced by corporate greed.

If my Full-o-Peps are hard-boiled or pasturized, is it safe to still eat them? Maybe if I get a flu vaccine….?
