Olympus as a brothel uses you to answer the prayers of others. The gods are having too much fun to see to the feeble whims and wishes of mortals. Sure, when they were younger, it looked good on their resume, but they gave up around the time they taught mankind how to scrawl crude letters, make fire and masturbate. Now if others want to be healed, prosper or be relieved of their anxiety, it’s totally up to you, which saves the egotistical gods and goddesses a shit-ton of work. Then, of course, they reward us for all that awesome karma, which partly explains the repeated AIG bailouts. Then, then, then they finally remember you and all the work you saved them and all the laughs you provided and it’s like, wham! You’re actually getting paid to play the guitar.
