You will need to decide for yourself whether friends and associates have your best interests at heart, or whether they are only out for themselves. This will be complicated in part because for the first half of the month you will be less inclined to think of yourself and more inclined toward considering the needs of others — and you may project this tendency onto everyone and everything. Unfortunately, when it comes down to making an educated guess, we usually must assume that self-interest will prevail, but that at least gives us something to work with. Keeping a focus on what you actually need and really want — and making this known to close partners — will actually get both you and them pretty far, even if you have to go against the prevailing winds for a couple of weeks until the Sun arrives in your birth sign and the fog clears.

Myself continues to hover around the story of Lilith and where to find (and create anew) the healing that is needed from that mis-understood myth-in-time ….all these other stories that are a part of our bigger modern-myth-landscape help me along my way. Thanks so much.
(I think some pieces come together…..first Jupiter now Uruanus lighting up the back-door vis-a-vis Pisces into 9th/Aries where Lilith Moon and Eris have been meditating like sequestered nuns….. Uranus on Lilith now…..as Mars now follows Saturn and points emphatically into the small open door through Virgo and into 3rd house and Libra……where true balance may yet be found and freed.)

Juno, Eris, Chiron, meet Shirley Sherrod. This past week these 3 myths, perhaps even more, have come to life through the experiences of this lady, Shirley Sherrod.
Juno – treated abominably by her husband, represents equality and is a symbol of injustice (Shirley forced by her boss to give up job, NAACP turns it’s back on her) Juno was conjunct the eclipsed Sun, Moon on July 11 in Cancer, along with the south node.
Eris – shunned because of the discord that her actions brought about in others. (Shirley speaks to the NAACP) Transiting Eris is conjunct the U.S. Sibly chart Chiron.
Chiron – raising consciousness through discomfort and pain in order to heal old wounds (Humiliation for Shirley, then her boss, then the President, the media, NAACP as the truth is exposed).
The trials of Shirley Sherrod have become symbolic of America’s inability to face the ingrained issues of race that have divided it’s people for so long. These 3 ancient divinities, each of them rejected, give astrologers an opportunity to teach others just how relevant their stories are today in our own lives. What goes ’round, comes ’round.
As Ms. Sherrod continues to be a subject of interest for the American media she will increase the opportunity of raising the consciousness of her fellow countrymen. In turn, this fulfills the goal of the Saturn, Uranus, Pluto T-square, along with the aid of Jupiter, Mars, the Sun and all the known planets, to bring about the transformation of Earth as promised in the many predictions regarding 2012. It’s a beautiful thing!
It was interesting to note that the day we became aware of Shirley, July 19, Len Wallick wrote about the yod taking place that day between Neptune-sextile-The Galactic Center, with both quincunx the Sun. Neptune was retro and returning to again conjunct the U.S. Moon at 27 Aquarius 10, exact on August 25, and at that time at 28 Aquarius 6. He said:
“. . .we’re under the pressure of what we don’t know created by the established order we’ve given ourselves over to. That and our own contribution and participation in obfuscation, striving to conceal our shame and assuage our guilt. What we don’t know – what has been concealed from us – is in our face with this quincunx, the face which we have hidden, even from the divine.” (Shine a Reflection on 7/19 here at PlanetWaves)
The next day, July 20, the Sun would exactly oppose the U.S. Pluto at 27 Capricorn 33 rx in the 2nd house of values, exposing the underbelly of America’s deep and largely unconscious fears. The same day Chiron would leave Pisces and re-enter Aquarius on his retro path to rejoin transiting Neptune for the last time. He will also pass over the U.S. Moon in retrograde in September and both Chiron and Neptune will conjunct the U.S. Moon in direct motion this winter. Hopefully, this will begin a healing process so necessary for this country to move to a higher level of consciousness. We won’t see the likes of this opportunity for spiritual peace for a long, long time.
