Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio weekly of Nov. 3, 2006
Yesterday’s ideas are too often of little use today. But the planets and the intelligence that orchestrates them are suggesting strongly that you not only hold on to your ideas, but also dust them off every day and take them one step further. Let this be a devotion over the next month. Take a chance on the possibility that you’re cultivating a garden, or a particularly brilliant project, or solving the oldest, most troubling problem you’ve faced all your life. This may seem like an unlikely week, but sooner or later, the knot untangles. It may as well be now. Family Focus: A child understands something that an adult caregiver does not.
(The Daily Oracle is a random selection from one of 10,000 Eric Francis horoscopes. New horoscopes by Eric are published weekly plus twice a month in Planet Waves Astrology News and Planet Waves Light. The Oracle itself is a divination tool available to subscribers to either of these services.)

When I was a kid I would lay on my bed and spin trying to find the best direction for the night….
Thanks for another wonderful learning experience, Len.
As for me, my beginner astrologer status can’t get past today’s personal conjunctions – mostly exact, one or more in almost every house.
Maybe that’s “normal” – ? but my lower back hasn’t hurt me for years and wow! is it stiff today —
1st house:
Transiting Sun conjunct natal Pluto at 01 Virgo
2nd house
Transiting Mercury (r) conjunct Part of Fortune at 18 Virgo (It must be Hermes lucky day!)
3rd house
Transiting Mars conjunct Quaoar at 16 Libra
Transiting Venus conjunct Quaoar at 16 Libra
4th house
Pallas has already moved past Jupiter my NN and Neptune. Jup and Nep are busy enough elsewhere!
5th house
Transiting Ceres almost to natal Saturn at 24 Sagg
True Node closing in on natal Mars at 13 Capp
(6th house has no transits, but heaven knows whatever else is going on with natal Venus, Pholus and Damocles all there. I hope it’s a party.)
7th house
Nessus on natal Chiron at 18 Aquarius
Damocles on Chiron at 18 Aquarius
Moon passing over Mercury 24 Aquarius
(I have no planets in 8th house – sound the All Clear!)
9th house
Transiting Uranus (r) just left natal DMLilith at 0 Aries
10th house
Transiting Sedna (r) at natal Nessus 21 Aries
11th house is free of transits — but transiting Xion is exactly opposing natal Juno who lives there at 14 Gemini.
Ah – and last but not least,
12th house
Transiting Juno is just past natal Uranus (08 Leo)
Whew. Glad she made it.
OK. Retreating now into and with the fortitude of my 8th house (how poignant!) where I will orient myself whichever way the planets pull me……
