Astrology Today: Oracle for Monday, October 22, 2012

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer weekly for August 12, 2005

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

Developments of the past week are coming to fruition now and you still have time to correct any miscalculations you may have made. You would do well to stop dealing with estimating the profitability of certain ventures and instead have faith that in the long run your efforts will get the results that they deserve. In the short run if you can factor fear out of the equation you will see that your needs are actually quite comfortably met. It’s just that you’ve spent so much time dealing with the idea of sacrifice it can be hard to give it up. While it’s just an idea such are particularly meaningful for you right now.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light. And for your 2012 annual reading, you’ll find Revolution. Revelation. Reality Check.

  1. So. This sent me brachiating through the 2005 journals. Now *that* was a year! Maybe, since it was my jubilee, the most complex and interesting so far. Aug. 12 is my son’s birthday, he was 10 that year, and the birthday dreams with him were *AHstonishing*. Too long to go into here, but a rebus of almost everything that has transpired in the 7 years since.

One part of it previewed Hurricane Rita (a name which turned out to have several meanings), though I wrote that it would hit Galveston. It swiped Galveston, but was destined for Houston.

The reading recalled a more innocent and passionate phase of my life. One in which I at least *believed* I was adored, which allowed me to take any and every risk, while generating huge confidence in the powers and prerogatives of the people I loved.

What a paradise. Well, it is in here somewhere. . .

  2. Thanks, dearest Ericle! Wish I could convince my bank that things should start to get better soon now that Saturn is no longer squaring my sign….
