I love him, we can talk for hours; he was pretty high up under Bush 43 and a talented, devoted law enforcement guy; and finally I ran into him today (I’ve been hiding in my house, mostly, and watching msnbc right before I left it occurred to me to track him down and get his opinion about all this crap) and seeing him moments later, I asked him what was up; and he gave me, well, he gave me Pub talking points: don’t fly; they’re taking advantage of Obama and how ‘soft on terrorism’ he is. We agreed about one thing, that Dutch federal security/police/airport whatever are just fine; so how exactly did this happen? But he ended up taking a partisan angle. And that for me revealed the nature of the split. I decided that o’bamma was chumped on 253. I don’t think he knew. I think it’s a power play against him. I know that there is a real element of bs to the dem/pub thing and that all the baseball teams, together, make up MLB. But the power elite slug it out and it makes a difference who has the official title, but they and we can still get pulled around like puppets till we get wise and get together.

    1) We’re the puppets, the Saudi royal family are the puppet masters

    2) There is, as Rick Engel reports, a great irritation tween Saudi Arabia and its poor cousin to the South, Yemen.

    3) I found the entire neocon response team–lead by Lieberman, a bit staged – Lieberman parroted talking points on the Sunday news shows, as Rachel Maddow says — of responses by the US government which have already been underway for months.

    4) It could be the remnants of the war machine are still at work trying to get the hard on. There is a fiscal reality that would pre-empt a new front in Yemen.

    Those patterns (I assume) created by M.E. Jones are tools and I only resort to them when I’m not getting the answers I need using the common/routine/reliable tools we all use. It usually corroborates what was found using the routine tools but sometimes gives a whole bunch of clues that weren’t obvious in the first study.

    I use the usual 5 degree orb for all planets in the major aspects, and like you, prefer the tightest orb to determine the influence of the aspect. The Sun and Moon get wider orbs (some say 15 degrees for both and some say 15 for Sun and 12 for Moon) but I don’t rely too much on those really wide orbs for influence. The minor aspects vary but most are about 2 degrees, sometimes 3 or sometimes 1. Some are very specific and don’t allow any orb at all! (Also, I don’t consider the quincunx a minor aspect anymore but still keep the orb at 3 degrees.)

    Mostly I rely on my gut to tell the truth! (or maybe it’s intuition, but I get a fluttery sensation in my belly)

Once again, you are a wonderful and generous teacher. The only thing i get lost on sometimes is the orbits of influence you are working with.

  10. You have to go back further than bush1. My son says this was all planned since ww2 – but that still leads to bush1 doesn’t it. One world government – a challenge to everyone’s existence. I don’t think you can blame the church anymore – the church has grown, has changed, is more Christ-Like. Israel was born at the end of the war. I don’t know – this stuff is scaring me.     As you suggested I ran a chart for the takeoff time for Flight 253 on Christmas Day from Amsterdam, and was struck by the fact that Pluto, Sun, Venus, Mercury stationing, and the north node were all in the 3rd house of communication, data, etc.

    Further, the ruler of the 3rd house is Jupiter (Sagg on cusp) who is located in the 4th house of home, homeland, roots, etc., and conjunct Neptune clouding the reality of anything it aspects. Neptune rules the 5th house . .perhaps the child bomber is implicated here.

    Mars in the takeoff chart is in the 10th house this time and still aspecting all major planets. This chart has the Moon at 7 Aries 20 in the 6th house of the hired help and making a tighter opposition to Saturn at 4 libra 18. Yep, Saturn is on the cusp of the 12th house of secret enemies and behind the scenes deals

    The chart’s ruler is Venus (Libra rising at 25 degrees) who’s presence in the 3rd and conjunct Pluto and the Sun emphasizes the powerful partners theory. She also rules the 12th!

    On a different line, the chart’s basic 10 planet picture is of a bucket pattern. Mark Edmund Jones says the position of the handle is what is important and “when the handle is situated clockwise through the zodiac, between the brim of the bowl and the vertical position, the “life” in general tends toward caution or self-conscious preparedness. . ” The bowl part represents “an extreme self-containment” and the handle in in the half of the chart that represents “the challenge to existence” and is the power of the bucket.

    Now, Hylonome, she’s a lot like Juliet, a lot like Isolde, but different. In other words (with all respect to you and Philip Sedgwick) “self inflicted” is true enoungh but does not quite do her justice. Perhaps we should consider Cyllarus in tandem with her (just as the lunar nodes are in perpetual opposition, if you get my drift).     As to your first question: who is the self, period? Maybe we should start with that.
