Mercury Storm Settling Down – Full Moon Coming

There has been a mix of emotional and psychological churning in the air the past few days. Mercury’s storm phase associated with the retrograde that started Thursday was one of the strangest in recent memory. Everyone I’ve talked to seems to be struggling with something that seems unnecessary.

The confusion should be settling down some now that the storm phase is over, and that you’ve had a few days to get used to the retrograde motion — which can be weird. The Sun is approaching a 90-degree angle (square) top Saturn, which is calling for focus and discipline.

The Moon, now in Cancer, will also help, because it’s a water sign that’s better adapted to Mercury in Pisces. The thing to be aware of is that the Moon makes a conjunction to Jupiter today, which is famous for emotional exaggeration — especially in the sign Cancer. So the wavelength to downplay is the emotive one; tap into the current Sun-Aquarius energy, pause and apply your mind when you feel like you’re getting carried away emotionally.

Mercury retrograding back into Aquarius on Wednesday will help by adding some mental energy where emotions were previously ruling; Mercury will spend the rest of the retrograde in an air sign, which should dry things up considerably.
