At 8 pm EDT on Sunday evening, May 18 — the night before Mars stations direct — I will be hosting the first Planet Waves community forum. This will be a live discussion similar to a call-in radio program. You may get involved by dialing in or listening to the live stream in the Web. This is a free event, though pre-registration is required. Then watch your email for participation instructions.
Monday at 9:06 pm EDT the Moon ingressed Scorpio. Because the Sun is in Taurus, that’s the beginning of the Scorpio Full Moon. As described yesterday, Venus (the ruling planet of Taurus) is slipping into a provocative square aspect with Pluto. This looks like a setup for some transformative experience. It’s one that deals with approaching limits, and how we deal with the concept of a limit. The aspect pattern describes how we consider the idea and the reality of death, which is also about change. This Full Moon takes place in the fixed sign Scorpio with the Sun in fixed sign Taurus, which possess solid grasps on their respective realities. They don’t like change, but sooner or later figure out that change is inevitable, so you may as well make the most of it. The Full Moon is an opportunity to release a deadlock of some kind. It’s also an opportunity to make changes voluntarily and not have to be pushed into them. You have yet another chance to consciously ease your way into a transformational experience rather than to have it happen to you passively. One of the ways to allow is to be real and speak your personal truth. But Mercury squaring Chiron, in effect now and exact Saturday, may be indicating self-doubt, doubt of your intelligence and lack of faith that words can convey feelings. Under the current astrology it would be a lot safer to trust your intuition than not to trust it. Doubt is natural enough even when someone is right; on its own, it’s not a sign that you are wrong. It’s more like a factor that you must address and resolve — rather than yielding to it and, in the process, avoiding yourself. Read yesterday’s post.

Thanks for the reminder that conscious easing into transformation is an option. I needed that.
Eric: Thank you for a refreshing approach to doubt, and for endorsing the intuitive’s rightful place in a decision making process. Quite a setup the sky gives us. May we all find our way.
