Past the Nines – Reset Time

Eric has asked me back to Daily Astrology for awhile while he completes his personal reset after the Burning Man experience. The profound and renowned Priya Kale will once again bring her exceptional insight and compositional skills to the weekly forecast on Friday. Be sure to read her take on all the signs to really appreciate the through line she always finds to remind us that we are in this together.

Yesterday (09-09-09) was the last set of repeating single-digit dates we will see until the next century. Fascinating as the math has been, the marketing gimmicks have worn thin. Of course, until we get past 2012 (and together, we will) that part will not let up.

Mercury retrograde, of course has been making its presence known. This is how a lot of a lot of people learn about astrology in the first place. From my perch, the lesson thus far is patience and perspective. Please be sure to share your own experiences in reader comments. Who knows? What you write could save someone else a lot of trouble.

In North America this day begins with the Taurus Moon in a trine to Saturn before it goes void, entering Gemini about 9 hours later. Unlike some Moon voids, the Saturn launch would seem to encourage behavior appropriate to an adult. Perhaps this would be an opportune time for a reset of your own (retro/introspection, if you will). You might find it worthwhile to invest a few moments to gather in and sort through the feelings that have piled up so rapidly since the holiday weekend. After lunch and for the next couple days will be plenty of time to share and compare the insights you gain.

Depending on your ephemeris, either today or tomorrow marks the end of Pluto’s long pause at zero degrees, 40 minutes (or 39, again depending on your ephemeris) Capricorn, moving forward almost imperceptibly but irrevocably not to cover this ground again for two centuries. Consider how lucky you are to to be a part of it and let that carry your own movement forward.
