New Edition On Its Way to Subscribers

New edition on its way.

We are now distributing the March readings to our website members. Today’s edition includes extended forecasts for all 12 signs and rising signs, detailed analysis of Mercury retrograde in Pisces and the Virgo Full Moon. Our news sections cover developments in the Monsanto case before the Supreme Court and the “sequestration” deadline, which is midnight Friday (plus there are a couple really fun tidbits). We are still offering a discount to new site members — this is valid through Saturday.

  1. “The ‘next generation’ of American women featured in the trailer point out that while they won access to the work force (beyond making great secretaries), women’s lives still are not balanced.”

This is true. The Women’s Movement had a starting point from which to jump; the “male as default model;” they never questioned their starting point. By not questioning that or even trying to change that the Movement gained women the ability to do what the default did (men and working outside the home) but never elevated the value of what traditionally women did which includes caregiving of children and the elderly. This adoption of the “male model” (and incidentally not all males prefer that model which they are socially pressured into) means that people (of either gender) doing caregiving (and those they care for) are not valued as highly as the male default model.

This is so pervasive. The CDC research found that every year, 1000 women are murdered by their boyfriends or husbands in the US but when one woman murders her boyfriend, it makes national news and they go on and on and on about her. The hidden message there is that females are not as valuable as males. THAT is what the Women’s Movement needs to tackle now.
