Subscriber issue focuses on where Virgo meets Sagittarius

I spent most of the day today writing the subscriber issue that goes out at about 10 am ET Friday. I focus on the quarter-Moon chart for Saturday, wherein the Virgo Sun aligns with a grouping of planets in Sagittarius. I’ve been covering this Sagittarius alignment from time to time (in some depth one year ago, at this time). I focus the theme of a spiritual crisis (the Sagittarius placements) that must be answered with reason and intellect (the Virgo placements). The chart describes a culture-wide clash between these two seemingly different levels of reality. I cover the astrology of false religion and end with some startling information about Sun Myung Moon and a cameo appearance by novelist Alexander Chee. The edition includes my extended weekly forecast for all 12 signs, a brief look at the chart for Obama accepting the nomination and your weekend astrology feature. To get access to the new issue and many fantastic editions of Planet Waves in the archives, click the subscribe link at the top of the page.
