New edition of Planet Waves is on its way to our members.

We’re on the cusp of the Sun moving into the strong (and potentially very interesting) Uranus-Pluto-Jupiter-Typhon configuration and Mercury entering its pre-retrograde shadow phase this weekend — all of which feeds into the next eclipse season. Eric offers a seasonal astrological-weather report in this week’s premium members’ edition, which also includes his extended monthly horoscopes for October, plus an especially rich selection of astro-news briefs.

You can access the full issue through individual purchase here. Or, sign up for a one-month free trial membership here, and ease your way into the coming busy season with Planet Waves by your side twice a week.

  1. Ah Strawberry my friend, thank you! You’re so right about the Cancer horoscope. The new job is really challenging, and I find myself facing a lot of old fears – which is good too, and it couldn’t be more different from the last few years of a miserable job I was trying to leave, followed by no job! Hugs to you too my dear.

  2. Lizzy, I’ve been missing you 🙂 I think of you often, & hope the new job is going super-duper well. Did you check out the Cancer horoscope? That one’s got your name ALL OVER it! hugs!

  3. Yes – thank you for this astounding edition, its depth and beauty have knocked me for six. Thanks for drawing my attention to the Scorpio horoscope, Strawberry, which I haven’t got round to reading yet.
Must say that the energy is already hitting me pretty hard – time to get the old surf board out!
Happy weekend and love to all.

  4. I agree, Len – this edition brings us wonderful astrological insight & guidance we can use to navigate these ‘interesting times’ with much greater awareness.

Much of the work I did in the past was primarily individual, personal astrology, both for myself & others. I left the astrology of events, i.e., the consequences of aspects & transits
on the geo-political realm to others. Here at PW, I find the two woven into a rich & informative tapestry.

I confess that I cringed a bit at the prospect of the solar eclipse conjunct Saturn, NN & the Sun – for it’s all happening on my natal moon (5th house), square my Mars & Pluto. By that time, I should be immersed in a rather lengthy art project, so I guess it’s good energy for that. I am, however, already a rather solitary, often sombre person, so perhaps I may need to lean on Jupiter’s transit of my first house & just lighten up a bit? Get out more?

In the meantime, the Uranus-Pluto square has been t-squaring my Neptune, while the Libra transits cross it, & my remaining illusions seem to be emerging for consideration. Down-sizing dreams, however, is hard work, difficult to do without getting snagged into regret, & I consider regret a great waste of life & energy. It’s like studying the hole one has fallen in umpteen times before, when one has already learned not to walk down that path again.

In the bigger picture, there does seem to be a bit of peace breaking out in the world, perhaps still tentative, but visible. That is encouraging, though we know there are difficult aspects ahead, & events could go sideways. I feel we need to nurture love & heart both in our own lives & in the energy we send out into the world.

  5. To all who are not subscribers: If you want a compendium to guide you through the next 6 months, this is the issue you want to start with. Great astrology, reliable astrology, forward looking journalism AND the monthly horoscopes for October that will not be equalled anywhere.

  6. Thank you, Eric and team. Grounding even though astounding!

Strawberrylaughter: I’m looking at some of the dates against my work and study schedule and i haven’t got past ‘oh!’ yet. [My favourite expletive]. Soon. Very soon. Then it’s me, diary, planner and graft. My very best wishes to you, and a hug, nilou

  7. Eric & team,
This entire issue is so powerfully grounding, so clear-sighted without being apocalyptic, so astonishingly beautiful and real, I find myself daunted and encouraged all at once. I think I can do this.

The horoscopes in particular have struck a nerve in a way that’s impossible to describe. I’m especially alert to Scorpio’s: “Consider any and every change you’ve avoided making the past few years. Consider everything that’s stuck in your life, the places you experience boredom, and the ways you want to break free. … Saturn’s presence is about focusing your energy and directing your passion in a way that’s directly integrated with that elusive thing known as logic.”

Your voice is a consistent wayfinder through some mad-ass times. I am inexpressibly grateful for all you do.
