That is from the “good writers borrow, great writers steal” files — the line is often attributed to me, though it comes from “Jealousy and the Abyss,” which offers a body of ideas at the core of what I do. I’ve been working with that article since the summer of 1992 (when I first discovered the Grandmother Land). That simple idea, which I’ve seen demonstrated over and over, made the point in as few words as possible.
Eric, I remember back in the 90’s you wrote about “that only the truth is erotic.” I wrote it down and stuck it in my car so I could see it every day. Those words gave me strength. I focused on what I was willing or not willing to do to be in relationships. It was my tool to cut through years of masks with laser-like precision. In turn, my life changed. Truth is one constant that I can count on: the body immediately aligns and its erotic essence cannot be contained.

I’m just gonna stay put. Call me a coward. Call me a control freak. But with merc rx and the square to Neptune, I dunno, I feel much is in flux and NOT as it seems. I have had def signs that for me, this is not the time to act in relationships, even if its something momentary of simply physical between two caring people. My experience this year is that it rarely is simple. With so much energy moving people in deeply psychological ways that cause major upheavals, one must move very mindfully. Once clear message to me, what is positive and helpful – and a green light – will present itself to me as such. It is the meeting of two energy components that are truly ready to vibrate together. When that arises, I will endeavour to meet it with courage and vulnerability. For now, there’s ice cream… 😉
