Planet Waves FM returns with special guest Rick Santorum

In today’s spectacular Welcome Back edition of Planet Waves FM, Rick Santorum appears to explain himself. Rick is a product of the centaur planets Chiron and Nessus, which you can see in the chart below are conjunct his Moon and Sun respectively.

Rick Santorum's little slice of heaven.
Rick Santorum's little slice of heaven. This is a noon chart; his time is not published.

Before I get into that, however, I describe the current Pisces sky with the Sun in late Aquarius. Charts are posted in the few blog posts below; not only are there currently many planets in Pisces, there is also a spectacular alignment today that I describe. That’s Mercury conjunct Chiron and sextile Jupiter — which bridges Pisces to Taurus and is just about as perfect of an expression as you can get of blending these energies — earth and water, mind and knowledge, the misty light of Pisces with the focusing agent of Chiron. I won’t say much more here — the audio tells you most of what you’ll want to know and I can reply to your queries here.

Now as for Mr. Santorum. Here’s the page of quotes that I’m reading from a bit clumsily; and here is what happens when you do a Google search for his name.

The chart is a noon chart as his time isn’t published yet. I focus on the Sun and the Moon. The Sun is conjunct Nessus; the Moon is conjunct Chiron. You may recognize Venus and Mars without needing a glyph key — they match the symbols on the bathroom doors in restaurants. The upshot is that Santorum is inheriting a raft of pain and a kind of infection from his parents; he’s a sensualist who doesn’t want to admit it; and worst of all he is at war with his feminine side, which he then projects into a war onto women. He needs therapy, not the opportunity to inflict his personal pain on society.

This and more in today’s edition of Planet Waves FM. Listen in the old player here.

Lovingly,
Eric Francis

  1. I have always played word games and the name Rick Santorum divulges quite a bit about the guy… I could type up the long list of words generated by his name but the one that I think defines his basic agenda is :”anti-amorist”. Where he really wants us to end up is “in armor in Iran”. He sees himself a “saint ” with “no sin”. I see a “scar”….Add a y to his name( perhaps as he was addressed, as a child, by family) and he is “scary”. I know his “trick”. “It is sick”….I could write a suess-esque book that would scare the kiddies just with the raw material of the letters in his name.

This guy’s agenda might actually awaken a lot of people from their stupor. I have seen a lot of what “cultural conditioning” has done to women in this sibling society. Growing up with no elders to show the way has been really tough. Now we see the fallout with stuffed suits and puppets running the show. The voices are out here, but to loop back around to an allusion to Seuss, We have to get all of the Who’s in Whoville engaged… Tear them away from the x-boxes(millenial stand in for the yo-yo) Diet Coke and flaming hot cheetos and say “wake up!!!!
How can we fight the corn syrup that has invaded the nation’s neo-cortex? That is the mystery I would like to solve. I believe the “cowing” of the masses starts there. The inability to rise up begins in the brain dosed out on sugar and exposed to too much external stimuli. But corn syrup is everywhere. grocery stores barely sell any edible food anymore. So where did the feminist movement go…? Perhaps if it was lime/cherry/mango- flavored the American populace would be enthused.

  2. Eric’s comment asking where are the women standing up for women is thought provoking. Is it that women are not speaking up, having been suitably cowed, submissive or complacent? Or is it that there are some who are speaking up, but not getting any media coverage? Or are women getting/allowing men to speak to issues because the men hae a better chance of getting coverage (though not necessarily heard)? It’s not just reproductive rights. There are other issues as we all know. A recent short bit on the local ABC station reported that women are not getting the same response from doctors in pain treatment, with men’s complaints being addressed more aggressively. The piece also indicated that there was a greater incidence of misdiagnosis of women’s pain issues.
I don’t know the answers to the questions, other than suggesting that women’s issues are being ignored or dismissed as we go through the throes of ending the patriarchal domination. May the force of Uranus square Pluto push that to the fore. And may someone ala Judith Gayle step forward in response to Eric’s request to cover these issues. Thank you, Eric, as always for clearly bringing forth what is hidden in plain sight – the blind spot of the conjunctions.

  3. Yes that’s what I’m thinking. There is something to push back against. It’s so beyond ridiculous I can barely speak. Feminism obviously has a lot of unfinished business, and now we’re risking going back to the baby farms of Germany that nobody talks about because images of jackboots are more cinematic and cliched. The problem with Santorum, however, is that he also wants to bomb Iran. Personally I didn’t think I was going to be donating to Barack Obama’s superpac, however, I am starting to reach for my checkbook. And that is NOT an endorsement of Obama.

  4. Eric,

Thank you for this, I really enjoyed your take on this. It’s clear there’s a lot of deception out there, thanks again for bringing this to light. I really needed to hear someone else say it!

Regarding the birth control issue, I think the answer is simple. It’s time to bring back the chastity belt! (yes, I am kidding)

  5. You know, we have to ask. What women are really standing up for other women? Some are, most are not. Is everyone waiting for other men to stand up to these men? I mean, I’m willing to. I would love to have more of my sisters next to me. If anyone out there wants to cover reproductive rights issues for Planet Waves, please get in touch.

  6. Scary. Thanks for the truth, Eric, and the “why” of the truth. He has an appeal that truly concerns me. His outer persona is so totally unconnected from his inner realities.I think I might pity his wife I know I would pity the women of this country if he comes into any more power.

  7. Eric,
Thank you for the vision behind the new look, everything seems to be functioning very well. Thank you also for a scary look at Rick Santorum. And to think that his financial backers are even more frightening than he is.
