In tonight’s edition of Planet Waves FM, I look at the annular solar eclipse in Taurus that happens at Tuesday at 2:14 am EDT. This includes a close look at several planets in Taurus, including Juno and Tantalus. I talk about eclipses, how they work and how to use them — and the message of this eclipse being about getting closer to yourself.
Then I give a pretty comprehensive introduction to Beltane, talking about the tradition and how “all wealth comes from the Earth.” I contrast the current eclipse with the Samhain (Days of the Dead) eclipse of early November 2013.
Finally, I look at the chart of musician, poet and visionary Loreena McKennitt — which I am including below so you can see what it looks like.

Will celebrate Beltane by listening to the amazing double CD I have of her performing in Paris. Am also very encouraged by the fact that I made my ukulele ‘debut’ last Sunday, during these eclipses – which I hadn’t thought was significant, till now.

ps: you got me thinking to my first encounter with planet waves, a while ago. I had this hole in my chart, so to speak, and I just knew there had to be something at this degree of Taurus to help me bring all this energy into my world — and indeed there was Nessus in the same degree of Loreena’s Mars that pulled all this stuff of mine into a fixed grand cross. All I know is that I listen to Loreena and I sob and dance and sob some more and then dance … like you said, Eric, it feels like I’m hearing from a master through the ages who’s taking me on this incredible ride.

Rich Podcast, Eric. Thank you it will take several listens to get it all. I am excited at the prospect of your working on the QB 1 square. I have QB 1 at 7 Aq. I don’t think anyone has done this work yet. You have a whole generation of QB 1 in Aq coming up to their square, and it’s an enduring aspect. It’s coming in as the Uranus-Pluto square starts to separate. I feel it is important for the planet that we gain some insight into this. Your article on the Taurus Solar eclipse yesterday is a kickoff.
Haven’t heard Lorenna McKinnett in so long, thank you for helping me find that place where I loved to dance and dance and dance — as I use the first day off in a while to go outside I’ll call up that part of myself I loved so much.
