Thank you, lovely women you are. Looking back on my words there, it was my error to suggest that girls or women are the source for men’s sexual confusion. That was my hurt space talking. I apologize. I take ownership for my own issues past and present, and correct them as I see fit and healthy in the world, and as I choose to express them as a healthy man and individual.

And the words that came up was ‘patience’, if you can let go of that goal a bit, let that woman come to you instead of you seeking all the time -Not easy, I know…but I know from my own experience that once one let goes of the obsession it creates space for things to happen.

Fact or Fiction? A girl will grow up thinking that guys have as much sex as possible and whenever possible. This sets up a fear of guys being too aggressive and always “on the hunt”. This also sets up a secret lust for the “bad boy” who goes after what he wants. For the guy, since the “bad boy” thing is secretly sexy, this sets up an expectation of a roll that he thinks he has to fill. He’s got it into his head somehow that NO is really YES. He doesn’t mind being rejected because eventually he’ll get what he wants from someone else. Woman view him with both disdain and secret attraction. “There’s a guy who is good in bed!”
Then along comes a guy who doesn’t fit that characterization, but is ostracized for being inexperienced, too emotionally inclined, or possibly even too sensitive. This man is well mannered, grounded in his life, intelligent and strong, and has a slightly quiet way of pursuing women, albeit with self confidence. This man encounters woman after woman who desire the type of man he is but do not understand how to behave around him or make space for him. They resort to a kind of distracted numbness and simply leave the situation without really understanding why. This man is left without the very experiences he needs, that he is taught by direct encounters that he lacks. This man is passionate, sexy, smart, and fierce. And he is very confused.

Love that song nilou! I too feel very much like a clean slate. This retro is a chance to tie up some internal energy points (which no doubt have their reflections in the external experience) and to gently ease off all the intentions and wishes and dreams awaiting birth. I can’t say I have any answers or that I won’t fall or won’t be hurt. Right now, it doesn’t matter…

Scorpio Rising! And I photographed the first gleam of the first sunrise of Scorpio this morning. Climbed a mountain to do it! I posted it in the planet waves facebook group if you’d like to see what your sun looks like rising over a mountain by the sea, Daniel, nilou.
Daniel! Thought you were disappeared in a fish tank for a while there. One of my very best friends many years ago used to keep her Barbie in a fish tank. Isn’t it such fun when all these disparate elements converge. This morning “Inspiration Peak” sent me ‘What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.’ etc. etc. from Father Pedro Arrupe; then James Taylor on the radio – ‘Something in the way she moves’ – that’s my happy song that reminds me that there always have been and always will be men who really know what it means to love a woman; a clothing company sent me a message with the subject line ‘Don’t be left out in the cold’; i also had a ‘Discover the diversity of Andalusia’ message from lastminute.com – it was the lastminute.com that caught my eye and then “that’s a really good idea – discover diversity means you actually leave the pc and go out in the world and do stuff…” So this is Neptune…or the universe having an unsubtle if-you-need-me-to-i’ll-shout day, or both!
For my impending solar return i’m thinking/feeling of just starting all over again, from the begininng, new everything, and i’ve been thinking/feeling that’s the way to go for a while now…and i may have put enough intent and energy behind the thinking/feeling idea, that that’s exactly what happens. Oh – one last: i could tell you what my Voyager card was this morning, but that would be boring (and too corny even for me) even though there is something compelling (to me) about a big lump of rock. So words, action, words-in-action, all the same really – as long as there is music to go with. One more last – do you like adventures? Love, nilou.
