Astrology Today: Oracle for Wednesday, July 17, 2013

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Gemini weekly for August 12, 2008

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

There ought to be nothing ambivalent about passion, but humans do a good job of scattering their energy on doubt. Now is the time for certainty, and that translates to certainty about desire. More to the point, it’s the time for some daring experiments about what you might want. Everyone has fantasies they don’t admit to, and you can start by admitting them to yourself — which is another way of saying you’re free to feel and think what you want. Then, begin the process of manifestation. Ask your partner or a close friend to help you make your desires into something real. Push the people around you out of their safe zone and into their daring pleasure zone. Trust me, they need it, and so do you.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light.

  1. Sexual innuendo aside – as not everything can be fixed with sex, or is about sex – I’ve never been ambivalent about passion. I am passionate about many things – it stems from all this fire energy coursing through my veins.

What I am discovering about myself, in this life, is that I seem to be filtering in aspects of every other life I’ve lived, or concurrently live, as Time only exists now.

One of these passions is for healing. Not medicine, as it is, and has been currently structured, since western men took over the art, but healing.

Every person I know is out of balance and needs help, starting with self, of course, but I am making strides with my own health.

Hubby is beginning to trust and believe that his health, too, can be restored. Daughter’s health is also a mess, and she is beginning to trust me – if for no other reason than the alopathic doctors are idiots, hogtied by the standard of care, pharma and insurance companies, causing her to be suffering too long.

And naturopathic ones can be SO conservative, you could die, while they’re putting lavender oil on you. Eating right and taking herbs can’t fix everything.

But this healing inclination (as in get to the root of the damn issues) stems not just from a connection with healing itself, but from the passion that stirs in me when I see wrong done. Wrong done to our bodies, from having put our faith, and our health, into the hands of people who are ill-equipped to help us.

It’s an underdog thing and it fires me up. Those who have been wronged by medicine are no less an underdog, than those receiving other forms of mis or mal treatment. So many, suffering, needlessly. Forced to operate at half mast, needlessly.

So, the fantasy I can easily admit to is simple one – having enough money so I can best help not just those I love, but others who are so financially strapped, they can’t order their own labs or buy needed supplements and are on the verge of a breakdown. Lives going down the toilet, because there’s no money, and no-one to lean on for support or assistance.

There is no societal structure in place for those who need financial assistance *so they can help themselves*. It’s so far outside how we’ve lived, and how we still live. Want to help yourself? Then you’re on your own.

Imagine how much money would be saved – government’s and ours – if we stopped throwing drugs and surgery at health problems, NEVER fixing them, btw, and actually helped people get to the root cause of their problems, helped them get what they need and get them on their way.

Maybe in a couple hundred years we could get to that.
