We don’t often stop to consider that the so-familiar reflection that we see every morning and on every elevator is not what other people see; it is the visual opposite. In many respects the same holds true when people reflect our emotions back to us. They look and feel similar to our own; they are usually right-side up. They are a picture that we can look at and learn from. Yet more than look, I suggest you consciously strive to learn something. Don’t take on what is not yours, though I suggest you acknowledge what is.

same here. a really good friend i’ve had great chemistry with for years and i had a moment that showed sparks and when we sat down to talk about it both of us realized we have chemistry but no attraction to each other. what then oracle?
