Astrology Today: Oracle for Saturday, October 6, 2012

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer weekly for June 6, 2003.

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

There are at least two levels on which it is possible to ‘get serious’. One is to think seriously and initiate projects that reflect your ideas. The other is to be clear in your intentions and your relationships, particularly with those who appear to be more powerful and influential than you, and those who are working in your service. Part of leadership and success always requires that we work effectively; another requires that we are able to negotiate, work with and, to a real extent, be equal to the people to whom we must answer. Both leaderships qualities are calling to you now. And they are yours to embody in some very unusual ways.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light. And for your 2012 annual reading, you’ll find Revolution. Revelation. Reality Check.

I have 2 ways of refocusing my mind, so that I can go forward and initiate new projects. One is to cut my hair. It’s a typically female way to assert our power – when she cuts her hair, look out!, something’s gonna change.

The other is to reorganize furniture. This I seem to have inherited from my mother, who, whilst waiting for dad to come home from his 3rd job in the wee hours of the morning, would reorganize all the furniture. We kids would wake up and think we’d landed in a different apartment!

I’m not that crazy, nor that healthy, so to be able to stay awake all night, moving furniture, but you’d be amazed how it opens up the mind to clean out closets, and move things into a new position, freeing up stuck energy patterns.

And I began my first watercolor yesterday. Nothing earth-shattering, but making those careful, little brush strokes and blending colors is centering and calming. Seems that we need to discover new things that we can do, from time to time, or else risk becoming rancid!
