In this week’s subscriber issue of Planet Waves, Eric weaves together thoughts on the Uranus-Pluto square as it is manifesting via reactions to Mitt Romney (thanks to Mercury launching a special level of cultural conversation), a new ruling on the law that allows indefinite detention without due process in the U.S., and even the latest book on women’s sexual freedom. What do all these things have in common? The intersection of the political with the personal growth we’re all feeling in strong, internal ways — and which many fear.

Was the 60’s really focussed or just like champagne bubbling over?
Sexual freedom all tied up with integration? ie not just sexual liberation but other things in play and balance?
Kate and co. Also woman/wife as owned property? Particularly to the crown/husband? Equally if even on your down time you are fair game that is a bit of a p*** off.

“Until that real freedom arrives? Does she think that freedom pulls into the station like a train, steps onto the platform, stops for a cappuccino and takes a taxi to the hotel? This reminds me of the people who want the fruits of the land without plunging in their pitchfork and turning over the soil. We want fire, but we’re not willing to split the wood. We want food, but we’re not willing to cook. Wait — where are we? I just checked my GPS and it’s flashing the words WESTERN CIVILIZATION.”
Yep. Apathy is not just a word in a dictionary. If we women want that freedom we are going to have to reach out and take it. Waiting is the old paradigm way. We have to step up and demand that freedom but we must first do it within ourselves by tearing open the wounds of shame we have ignored our whole lives. Rip off the scabs of shame and FEEL it, work through it to the other side and then we can look outward as whole people and know that freedom is our right.
Great issue, editorial team! Esp. LOVE the summary of the upcoming Equinox (which is already beaming in with teleport capacities – only *this* teleporter delivers you to ]]eXactly[[ where you are!)
The Cancer/Sagg weeklies were a fun blend for me, both themes –need & non-attachment– concurring precisely with my plans for World Domination.
Ha.
