Eric- I followed the link in your article to learn about penumbral eclipses, and I discovered that tonight’s eclipse is the first in Saros Series 150, which will extend past the year 3000. I am struck by the energy of initiation this eclipse represents, something that will extend so far into the future beyond our current biological lives. This is truly a Millennial event that begins with the moon briefly touching the shadow cast by the Earth, so subtle and yet…
