For All Souls’ Day

All Souls’ Day, one of the traditional Christian feast days for honoring the dead, occurs while the Sun is in Scorpio and the veil between worlds is said to be thinnest. It coincides with the Mexican Days of the Dead, which trace their roots back through indigenous Latin American cultures. Pine Grove Cemetery, Canton, Maine. Photo by Amanda Painter.
