What I don’t think you’ve fully taken account of is the extent to which you simply fail to value your role in the lives of the people closest to you, and to see yourself as a positive force for change on the planet. There are numerous old injuries associated with this lack of awareness, and you may be inclined to run from them. I don’t suggest that you do; what you’ll learn by sticking around is far too good to miss.
