Emphasize negotiation and the exchange of energy with others and you will see the relative strength of your position. We can only see the strength once the dance of inter-relation has begun, since relationship is not a theory, it’s a practice. You will also begin to notice the weakness you’ve perceived as being inherently part of you as actually being a function of one particular situation, perhaps a relationship long past. Certain lessons from that meeting lead to the idea that some of the oddest mysteries of life must follow choreography that renders them predictable. Even if this is true, you don’t want to be the one doing the predicting. You are still far too pessimistic for that.
