On this fateful day…

As I’m sure you already know, this morning marks the seventh anniversary of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Here’s hoping that the dark cloud hanging over us will brighten towards a new day and a better future.

For your interest, we’ve published many pieces on 9/11 here at Planet Waves: I’d particularly like to direct you to a piece called The Gingerbread House, and also Sept. 11, 1984 and Mercury Also Rises.

There is also an entire section of our site dedicated to the topic, the Sept. 11 Resources Area can be located by clicking here, or through the Archives tab in our menu bar at the top of this screen.

We also have a collection of personal accounts of Sept. 11 written one year after the fact. It is worth reading because it provides a link into the emotional realm of the incident before it was politicized. Here is the link.

And a big shout out to Michael Asher, my dad. May he rest in peace.

Yours always,
Rachel Asher
