Mars enters Sagittarius at 5:57 pm EDT (21:57 UT) Saturday for about six weeks to favor the bold — but not the reckless. To get an idea of what the distinction between bold and reckless might mean for you, think of the difference between a safe driver and an unsafe driver in heavy traffic.
Safe drivers gather awareness, signal their intent, and boldly commit without hesitation. Unsafe drivers often neglect awareness, fail to signal, and move recklessly.
Just as in heavy traffic, there are no guarantees of safety in your world. It’s a matter of participating, and boldly working probabilities so as to enhance the possibility of favorable outcome.
By the same token, it will not pay to go to the other extreme of recklessness. Energetic Mars in fiery, mutable Sagittarius (a sign ruled by expansive, amplifying Jupiter) just doesn’t add up to favor being timid, hiding out, holding out or sitting out, even if it feels like you should be doing just that when Mars enters Sagittarius this weekend.
The reason you may feel tempted to practice avoidance when (and after) Mars makes ingress to Sagittarius is that the Moon, according to many astrologers, will be ‘void of course’ (or just about to become so) at the time.
