A solstice Sun
A couple comments under Len’s post brought up the idea of oysters making pearls from irritating sand as a model for the rest of us these days. When I checked Nasa’s Astronomy Photo of the Day today, I found a whole celestial necklace of pearls to mark today’s solstice. — amanda
