Today is June 13, 2011. The Moon is making its way across late Scorpio, on course for a total eclipse Wednesday at 4:13 pm EDT. The Moon will make an opposition to Mars at 1:43 pm EDT, which is a cue to avoid conflict and pay attention to what might be brewing underneath the surface. Once the Moon completes that aspect, it goes void until ingressing Sagittarius at 10:38 pm EDT.
The Sun is conjunct Mercury in Gemini, and both are about to cross the South Node of the Moon. This is another way of activating the node. Look for messages and information that help us resolve past matters. Keep your mind on that as a kind of commitment and it will be easier and may even come naturally. We hear a lot about ‘letting the past go’ and less about completion and resolution — and learning what we really can learn. This is one of the great benefits of going through things.
The South Node can represent many different dimensions of the past. It can have the feeling of childhood, of ancestry or of past lives. It can have all three at once. With Gemini being the current location of the South Node, you may find yourself taking a different viewpoint or reinterpreting something from your personal history. You may get another side of the story, such as something you’ve never considered nor had a clue existed. Often we are hung up on the past because of something we don’t know. Persistent mystery can create an attachment — and so too can denial. Now would be the time to encounter that mystery. One of my mottoes as an editor, and the first thing I will teach a young investigative reporter, is ‘know when you don’t know’. One of the problems with this thing we like to call human intelligence is that it can have a blind spot about what it does not know. That may seem like a paradox — how can you be aware of what you’re not aware of? That’s different from being aware that you have some missing information. You might call this not jumping to conclusions; the mind loves to do that, which is fine and can be intuitive, but you really have to know when to check in with yourself. It’s vital to know what you don’t know. And it’s just as necessary to know what you think, but which may or may not be true.
Meanwhile, Venus is in Gemini and is gradually making its way into that exact square with Chiron in Pisces. Venus to Chiron aspects can have a cosmic-erotic flavor to them. Contact between the inner or personal planets and Chiron makes the presence of Chiron obvious. If you want to see the way Chiron manifests in your life, study the places in your chart where it makes contact with the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars. In this case, the contact with Venus illustrates a kind of compelling necessity to integrate what we think of as love or sex with what we think of as healing. This does not necessarily come intuitively to most people, but with a square, such a notion will be a little more difficult to miss.
Especially if you know when you don’t know.
ps hi Sadge good to hear from you ((((SiS))))
And check this link out from Dr. Moret about the true cause of the Fukushima event

Thanks for your heads-up GG:
Check out this link about the radiation effects all over the world due to radiation exposure from Dr. Leuren MOret

a few tidbits to add to the mix on whether or not the earthquake occurred:
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eqinthenews/2011/usc0001xgp/#summary
if you want to trust USGS data..lots of tabs for data on that one. and at the Home page you can watch earthquakes that happened today at your location!
hm how about:
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-japan-earthquake-timeline,0,729519.htmlstory
there, that’s better, interactive map, and if you click on the satellite, besides seeing the mighty sea floor (cool!) and that tectonic plate, you can see the time lapse of all the quakes…keep watching, it is several minutes long, it looks like it is stopping in some parts, but more and more quakes occur until you see the big big one…pretty amazing, It wasn’t just one big blast…
anyway, just thought I’d throw that out there.
I like the Know when you don’t know = pure potentiality exists in that
makes some nervous, others electric..
peace, All, really!

Very cryptic. I know I don’t know but when I try to find out, I am not always given an answer. I can only surmise that no answer is the answer and go from there. That leaves things hanging but perhaps having things hanging is the way it is going to be so I have had to accept that. Very difficult for this Virgo rising who likes to wrap up loose ends and go to the next work thing.
uhhh… the nuclear weapons strike sounds a bit out there. but the stats for infant deaths is definitely upsetting — and documented.
Truly disturbing and plausible.
How about this?
http://www.naturalnews.com/032692_Fukushima_earthquake.html
(NaturalNews) What if the alleged 9.0+ magnitude mega earthquake that was said to have hit off the coast of Japan back on March 11 never actually happened, and the resultant tsunami that destroyed the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant was actually a deliberate, false flag attack using nuclear weapons? Freelance journalist Jim Stone offers compelling evidence that the official story we have all been told concerning the disaster is a phony coverup for a concerted attack against Japan, possibly for offering to enrich uranium for Iran.
Nice post.
Sorry to be off point but I just got this and thought PW readers would be interested — GG
A 35% Spike in Infant Mortality in Northwest Cities Since Meltdown
Is the Dramatic Increase in Baby Deaths in the US a Result of Fukushima Fallout?
By JANETTE D. SHERMAN, MD
and JOSEPH MANGANO
http://www.counterpunch.org/sherman06102011.html
U.S. babies are dying at an increased rate. While the United States spends billions on medical care, as of 2006, the US ranked 28th in the world in infant mortality, more than twice that of the lowest ranked countries. (DHHS, CDC, National Center for Health Statistics. Health United States 2010, Table 20, p. 131, February 2011.)
The recent CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report indicates that eight cities in the northwest U.S. (Boise ID, Seattle WA, Portland OR, plus the northern California cities of Santa Cruz, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, and Berkeley) reported the following data on deaths among those younger than one year of age:
4 weeks ending March 19, 2011 – 37 deaths (avg. 9.25 per week)
10 weeks ending May 28, 2011 – 125 deaths (avg.12.50 per week)
This amounts to an increase of 35% (the total for the entire U.S. rose about 2.3%), and is statistically significant.
