Another correction – my apologies – there IS a septile between Saturn and Pluto (who are also in mutual reception) and there is also a septile between Mercury 19 Aquarius 59 and Uranus 10 Aries 59, but not (as I said earlier) between Moon and Jupiter in the missing plane takeoff chart. There is, rather, a semi-square between Moon and Jupiter, and between Moon and Uranus.

    After adding in the minor planets, the Moon (24 Taurus) also makes a quincunx to Pholus (24 Sagittarius) who is conjunct Baccus (24 Sagittarius) and Cupido (24 Sagittarius) and they are in the 1st house. Makes me wonder about the condition of the pilots.

  5. Happy 50th solar return/Chiron return Eric; 50 is the new 30 I hear.

    Just got a time for the takeoff of the missing plane. 12:24 AM local time, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 2+ Sagittarius rising, 0+ Virgo on the MC, Saturn in the 12th opposite the Moon in Taurus in the 6th. Pluto was at 13 Capricorn 11 in the 2nd, Chiron was 13 Pisces 34 in the 4th. Uranus in the 5th of course was exactly square now-direct Jupiter in the 8th. The Moon (trigger?) at 24 Taurus 38 falls half-way between Jupiter and Uranus.

    In last year’s solar eclipse on May 20th (0 Gemini 20), Jupiter was at 24 Taurus 56 who was quincunx Saturn at 23 Libra 45 rx who was trine Venus at 23 Gemini 24 rx. That eclipse had Mars opposite Chiron who sextiled Pluto in Cap and Vesta at 9 Taurus and they were trine Virgo Mars making a grand earth trine. Venus (ruler of 6th) in the missing plane chart at 0 Aquarius 40 trines the May 2013 solar eclipse. The IC (ruled by Neptune and/or Jupiter) of the missing plane chart at 0 Pisces squares the May 2013 solar eclipse.

    Between the Moon (ruler of 8th) in the 6th and Jupiter (ruler of chart) in the 8th in the missing plane chart there are 51+ degrees making a septile, 1/7th of a circle, 7 being an irrational number, and septiles indicating a fork in the road (sky?). Missing plane chart Jupiter (10 Cancer) also forms a semi-square to his own position in the May 20 2012 eclipse chart, 24 Taurus 56.

    For now I’m thinking it has something to do with insurance (Venus at 0 Aquarius in plane chart forms a novile (40 degrees separation and more subtle than a trine) to the eclipse Chiron (9+ Pisces). Any thoughts?

    P.S. In the eclipse chart the shape of a plane (or bird) is formed with Chiron at the head and Mars at the tail and Vesta and Pluto are the wings. I believe it is called a kite formation and it puts Mars (10 Virgo) in the focal point. 🙂

    It has been a whirlwhind 10 years since I started reading P W…..the pace of Astrological developments is truly reflected in the pages here…!

    Glad to see you are warming up your horn….music is all about key centres…12 of them…and the 7 modes to be found in each! Since these are called after the Greek columns…you are more than half way there….Dorian…Doric….the nib in the column is at the same place as the semi-tone movement in the scale!

    I returned to the UK for an extended stay….on the first Saturn square Mercury 25. 01.14. As well as teaching private clients here…I also work in the closed (locked) wards at Psychiatric Hospitals for the N.H.S. in Wales … Music Therapy …one of my first clients thinks he is Joe Strummer …!! First tune of the day….Police and Thieves….

    So if your band gets out of line…anytime….bring ’em along and I can re-tune a couple of sub-routines……

    Perhaps you are ready to understand that a tune lives and breathes in a particular key…it just brings the sunshine to the room, and explodes with delight, delectation, drama, dexterity, and all those other positive neptunian/chironic influences! All YOU have to do is find out exactly which key that is…!!

    Try and remember what to do with the candles…!!

  11. eric francis – you are absolutely one of my top heroes! i’ve been literally addicted since you began reporting from the astros of north jersey. i made the trek cross country to visit you on your washington island. i left that visit literally floating above the water like some esoteric dream. i read you daily weekly monthly yearly. i share you with my friends and family and get them to join. there’s no one that equals you out there in the cosmos as visionary, utopian, reputable, shocking, sexually knowledgeable, weaver of the micro to the macro, healer, spirit guide cosmologist sexologist therapist artist ecologist and all those other ist’s. you are the king of the journalist’s eric francis and i love and adore you with all my heart!!!!

    and i wish you an amazing fabulous wonderful crossing over the threshold of 50. it just keep’s getting better. promise.

  12. If I recall, I read a letter written for the Planet Waves audience from someone who knows Putin personally which explained why he was justified in taking the Crimean Peninsula, or at least why this was perfectly understandable.
