Astrology Today: Oracle for Saturday, November 9, 2013

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Gemini weekly for July 11, 2008

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

After much gnashing of teeth and sweating through your pillow once or twice this week, good financial news is on the way. Rather than coming as a check delivered to your front door (a distinct possibility), it may come in the form of something you discover about yourself; something obvious that you’ve probably noticed before but did not, until now, consciously recognize the value of. Ain’t that life? Well, please take advantage of it. You have invested far too much energy in a problem whose solution was gazing at you from its perch on the kitchen counter. Indeed, you have invested too much energy in believing that your problems really are problems. I know it feels that way, but I suggest you look around your life, and the world and notice: many people are facing truly serious issues that make your world seem like a coloring book.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light.

  1. It had been on my calendar for months, Liz. 😉 Like a lot of us, he doesn’t appreciate how important he is here (wherever here is), now. To us. Like you said, the future is one thing — it’ll come, and he’ll be more prepared to show up fully due to all this work he’s been doing in the depths. But here and now are all we ever really get to live. And if anybody expresses exuberant living in the here and now, it’s Daniel.

(…and by the way, Lizzy, your comment about emotionally dependent mothers could not be more real or beautifully expressed. I thank you dearly for saying it.)

  2. Thank you so much for your encouraging words, dear Daniel. You know, emotionally dependent mothers unconsciously try to keep their kids dependent on them, don’t want them to ever leave home even if they know they must. It took my sister, who’s the youngest, ages to finally leave the nest.
I wish you the very best for everything, but whatever you achieve in the future, you’ve already achieved the most important thing of all imo – that of being a loving and compassionate person.

  3. Thank you so much Lizzy! That lab sounds awesome! Go for it. Anything you can do to play and sing is soooo important for you.

My mom took me out for dinner yesterday and one thing that I told her was: “I had so many opportunities for my music to slowly take off. Competitions, readings, master classes, I even had a CBC radio producer approach me and say to me “I will watch for your name”. But nothing happened. If my music had started to pick up, I would never had made the changes I needed to make. Or it would have been almost unbearable.”

Even last night, I walked to my apartment and felt this old twinge of fear of being on my own, that is was so safe living at home. And I said, KEEP GOING! Maybe I grew up late. I also understand my sexuality as a driving force behind my entire being. It’s the root of my experience, my voice, my energy field, my creativity, and a space where I allow others in. I know I am meant for something more in this life. I don’t know what is next. I do know that there is a sketch for Orchestra staring at me right now on my piano…

Thank you all again for your love and warmth!

  4. You crazy motherfucker, I’ve missed you. I respect that you’re doing what you need to do, but this place is not the same without you. Enjoy 40!

  5. And hey, glad you’re still ‘here’ in your own way, Daniel – cos I wanted to tell you that I might be signing up for a music lab where I get to sing, play uke/guitar and maybe even get to learn the banjo at last! Really wanted to share that with you.

  6. Oh my god you guys! You brought a huge smile to my face. Thank you Strawberry, so very much. It’s tomorrow actually, and I seem to have enough luck to have my Venus return exact on the same day! 40 is gonna rock balls! Anyway, I just had to say thanks, because to not would have left a hole in my stomach.

And holy cow man on that f**king awesome dream! That was pure unadulterated joy.
