Astrology Today: Oracle for Friday, September 27, 2013

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio weekly for Sept. 8, 2006

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

Life’s most important changes are sometimes subtle. From time to time, we learn something that takes years to process, and which we may even forgot at the time — but the learning initiated by the original revelation continues on a deep level. What you learn this week is worth remembering, and remembering the details of. And, it’s possible to do so. Write yourself a letter about these weeks to the future you. State clearly where you are in life, including a description of your state of mind, current events and your social circle. Then articulate a vision for yourself. Check back in four years. Family Focus: All you can do is guide the process of life; you cannot control it. And that is enough.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light.

  1. I found the lyrics to the song. It’s so beautiful. You know what they say: it’s always darkest before the dawn, and then the sunshine comes – and shows up the dust! I sure hope the divine gets here soon! I am ready to do my part. Until then we trust that the great compassionate nature will find us, and we keep out hearts open and prepare to embody all that it true, good and right; and tonight I shall rest in the quiet stillness that comes from protection of the most compassionate one – and listen to this song. And think of how full of awesomeness the world is! Must be something to do with Sisyphus conjunct the GA! Peace.

    Haris Alexiou-To tango tis Nefelis

The two first mara came and stole
the golden cloth Nefeli used to wear on her head
so as to differ from us all in the vineyard.
The two first mara dreamed of Nefeli
and wished to feed her pomegranate and honey
so that she would not remember,
so that she would forget what she desired,
and they managed to seduce her.

Hyacinths and lilies wear the scent they stole from her,
while flying love gods laughed at her,
throwing their arrows in her direction.
    But the benevolent Zeus
took the water of immaturity from her,
turned it into a cloud and dispersed it
so those mara could no longer find her,
and she lived in the peace and joy of every day.

  2. thank you Nilou and Lizzy, I’m sorry, this brought out my gritty “don’t fuck with me” side. I’m leaning as much as I can toward forgiveness. Some days are easier than others. I’ve done some good work, and am still doing it. I know that counts. Others have their work.
    Peace love and grooviness…

  3. Some tango basics:
    – It takes two to tango but each one is responsible for their part
    – The first principles; you learn to walk by yourself and then with someone else
    – It is always an improvisation; if the steps are rehearsed that’s practice
    – The leader leads and the follower follows; this is a lot more tricky than it sounds
    – It requires trust, not fancy footwork; if you choose simply to walk, you walk
    – It can be danced with the steps, but from the heart makes magic
    – “You have to be bold, while you dance you have to commit to the dance”
    (thank you my teacher)

[some interesting comments here as well]

  4. Yes, I join Nilou here. As well you know, dear Danel, that ‘sick shit’ is also great fertilizer! It’s all good. It’s something I’m trying to look at these days, the way we divide things all the time and judge them as good and bad. All that stuff is also what makes you such a sensitive and compassionate man, able to understand others, and also a great musician, I’m sure.

  5. Hey, Daniel, we’re all friends here! An unfolding miracle is a very special blessing indeed. I’m sure you will nurture yours with care and it will be wonderful! (Sometimes i think the stuff about madness and genius being a point of view is true, but then i would, wouldn’t i? 🙂 Best, nilou

  6. I just took a look at my sent folder. I am sick reading it. I can’t believe the shit hole I was in. Sick sick shit. The one miracle that was unfolding was my correspondence with the Vancouver Symphony on my commission.
