Astrology Today: Oracle for Tuesday, July 16, 2013

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius weekly for April 6, 2007

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

You appear to be having a positive effect on someone close to you, even though they may be masking the extent of your impact on their life. Though you’re a potent force, they are, however, making up their own mind about who they want to be. You’re a kind of model, but their vision is the one that’s shaping their actual choices and their personal values are at work behind the many evaluations and self-assessments they are going through. Meanwhile, keep having fun, keep defining success your way, and remember that you teach by your being rather than the words you say. For you who love words, this may be an odd idea. By now, though, you have sufficient evidence to know that what you do is more important than what you say.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light.

  1. I’ve been having a positive effect on several people close to me, and appreciate the reminder that I only need to be me and to: “teach by your being rather than the words you say. For you who love words, this may be an odd idea. By now, though, you have sufficient evidence to know that what you do is more important than what you say.”

This is true, to a point. However being me means using words, and believe me, some people need more than the subtlety of noticing another’s actions, so to get the wheels of change in motion. They need actions backed up with words. Both work hand in hand.

It’s like religion – most of it is words. Useless unless backed up by action. But reducing action to words makes it more easily comprehended. We see action, but we think in words.
