View up through the ceiling of the temple at Burning Man 2012, with a sign held up by another participant; photo by Amanda Painter. There were so many things about my Burning Man journey to be thankful for — including the journey to get there over the preceding days, weeks, months and even years, as well as the inner journeys I took while there — that I’m not even sure where to begin. But Planet Waves and its participants have been integral to this process of figuring out how to be who I am. Thank you.
clinkjet — so cool that you know the person who made that sign! i did not photograph people inside the temple; everyone there seemed to be in some state/process of memorial/meditation/contemplation/grieving/ or prayer that it seemed like it would have been disrespectful to photograph them. but the sign and the ceiling i simply could not resist.
Hey I agree – great photo! For two reasons:
1. I love the structure and Amanda’s angle on it.
2. That sign!
In case anyone else likes that sign too, I know the groovy man who makes them. Plus other things. He’s in the Flagstaff part of our universe. If you’re on Facebook, you can find his signs here: http://www.facebook.com/SIGNchronicity
Scrolll down his timeline to find the signs.
Peace!

What an AMAZING photo! Thank *you* Amanda, for all your talents and generosity. Will catch up with the rest later. Must fly….
I did research on Google, this temple is impressive by its architecture and looks like from your photo Amanda the Eiffel Tower in Paris in an angle like that there
