Mars is about to change signs. It is what’s called void-of-course, but you are nothing of the sort. That is, unless you decide that you don’t need the people around you who are so well situated to assist you with a particular goal that’s been a source of obsession for quite a long time. You are closer than ever to making a concrete step toward achieving what you’re after, but this is not an independent project, nor is it your project, really. It’s something for which you’re responsible and to which you are deeply devoted, but it’s community property. I hope this reminder comes as a welcome relief but not too big of a revelation.

As I was waiting to fall asleep (and waiting, and waiting, but that’s another story), the idea jelled that my healing isn’t just my healing. Not a revelation, as I’ve been aware of it all along, just that the words flowed together a certain way in my mind, to see not only the necessity of these changes, but, also the inevitability.
That my taking ownership of my body and my healing and not deferring to some dismissive male endo or PCP, along with thousands of other women, who are doing just as I am doing, is part of the healing process our planet is undergoing.
We women (51% of the US pop.) are, bit by bit, deconstructing the male world structures by not giving them our power or time of day even, which not only has not served us, but has kept us suffering needlessly, confused and mistrusting of our own wisdom.
And by us, I mean all of us. These structures have not exactly served men, either.
