Kevin Spacey has an identical twin: an androgynous robot head named Jules. And together, they’re planning something dirty.
The Bristol Robotics Laboratory, part of the University of the West of England and the University of Bristol, have not come out with any public statements regarding the Jules-Spacey resemblance.
Nothing has been confirmed or denied, but take a close look at this first photograph (left) of Jules, and the photograph below of Spacey from Superman Returns. Creepy, isn’t it?
Jules was invented as part of the Robotics labs’ project, entitled “Human-Robot Interaction,” where the very human-looking robot mimics the facial expressions of the people around it.
This could call for a whole new level of annoying: and for anyone who has been caught in a childhood game (or game with a child) of “stop copying me,” you know what I’m talking about.
But back to Kevin Spacey. He’s been making strategic moves, inching closer and closer to Bristol, where Jules has been relocated (he was built in the US and shipped to the UK for further research). Last June, he was “coincidentally” offered a job as a visiting professor at Oxford University. Bristol is only an hour and twenty minute drive from there, an easy trip for an adjunct professor. Before that, he was living in London, heading a famous theater, the Old Vic.
The move to Oxford cuts his trip to Bristol in half. What’s he planning?
At first, I thought the Oscar-winning actor (The Usual Suspects and American Beauty) was planning some kind of horrible, techy pairing of ventriloquism and stand-up comedy.
But now I think he’s staging the world’s first human-robotic sex party. According to Wikipedia, very little is known about Kevin Spacey’s sex life: he’s quite guarded about it. I suppose I would be too if I wanted to have sex with robots that look like me.

If either Jules or Spacey are looking for some boy-on-boy, robot-human action, I think I found someone for them: check this guy out.В He’s a Russian bodybuilder doing the robot: the perfect transition into machine/human sexuality.
So maybe that’s the key to the Jules-Spacey mystery: a full-on sexual experience with a robot that looks exactly like him. If he read Book of Blue once in a while, Spacey could probably have saved himself a lot of time and effort, and just bought himself a mirror.

Hmm, I think Jules needs to work his pickup lines a bit. Not to mention he’s dressed like a bloody chav! Where’s the Burberry and the bling?
Definitely a he, even the headshot above looks very masculine to me. ‘Course, so does Kevin, so that’s not saying much. 😉
